Straight answers
We reply to every application within a few working days. If your profile fits a live role, expect a screening call, a skills check and a paid work sample, then a client interview. From application to offer is usually two to four weeks. If nothing fits right now, we keep you on file and contact you when a matching role opens.
Yes, you work the client's hours, and those are early. A Sydney or Melbourne business day runs from roughly 00:00 to 09:00 South African time in the AU summer and 01:00 to 10:00 in winter. Brisbane and Perth finish a little later. New Zealand is two hours earlier again, so an Auckland day is roughly 22:00 to 07:00 SAST. Some clients accept a partial overlap, most want the full day. If those hours do not suit you, this is not the right fit, and we would rather say so now.
It depends on how the client hires. With Direct Hire, the AU or NZ business contracts you directly. With Managed Hire, Anyplace's South African entity is your legal employer, you are paid in rand under a South African contract, and you work day to day for the client's team. Either way you have one manager and one team.
Never. Clients pay us. If anyone asks you for money to be placed by Anyplace, it is not us.
